Formerly known as the Patrick Air Force Base, we are now proud to be a home to our Nation’s Space Force. Patrick Space Force Base can be found on the sandy stretch of land between Cocoa Beach and Satellite Beach, with easy access from Merritt Island,
Melbourne and Viera areas. 

Home to more than 15,000 military and civilian personnel, we are proud to partner with our nations military that move in an out of Brevard to work among the talented men and women of the Space Force. The US Space Force is responsible for organizing, training and equipping guardians to conduct global space operations that enhance the way our joint and coalition forces fight. While also offering decision makers military options to achieve national objectives. 

It is only fitting with all the space activity here in Brevard that we are home to one of the Space Force Bases. As a local, you can see daily flights in and out of the base as well as military personnel practicing parachuting down or marine patrol as the prepare for missions and
launches.
