Located in Melbourne among the Suntree/Viera Area, the Brevard Zoo is located just east of I-95 off Wickham Road. Brevard Zoo is recognized as the world’s largest community built zoos! It is a family favorite for many Brevard locals and tourists a like. The Brevard Zoo’s Mission is to “Share Our Joy of Nature to Help Wildlife and People Thrive.” Not only do they play host to more than 400,000 visitors annually, they also play a large role in conservation of our wildlife and waterways. They have been continually
recognized as a leading institution in top zoo lists and awards from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. 

Our family loves the zoo for the animal encounters. Here you can feed the giraffes, lorikeets, paddle a kayak among the monkeys and wildlife, or take a train ride with your little ones around the park. The zoo also has a toddler playground area, petting zoo and splash pad for your family to enjoy on a hot day. With hundreds of animals each visit is a new experience!
